Riding School
Sheans Horse Farm Riding School operates on the farm in conjunction with our other activities. The Riding School operates all year round and caters for all ages and all levels of ability. Lessons can be individual or group-based and lasts from half to one hour. We felt that a good half hour session is adequate for young children and beginners.
We have two sand arenas, a small one for beginners and novice riders and a large arena with a full set of coloured jumps for the more proficient and experienced riders.
We find that the trekking tracks compliment the riding school particularly for beginners and novices. Once they have gained the elementaries of balance and control and go out on the tracks to hack and trek, they gain agreat deal of confidence, relax and become much less tense.
