Young Stock

At Sheans Horse Farm aim to produce quality, well-handled young animals with a good temperament, to supply the growing demand for performance horses in Northern Ireland and further afield.  Sheans Horse Farm originated from the decision to move from traditional cattle and sheep farming to breeding sports horses for the leisure market.

By being reared extensively on a variety of terrain rather than on flat dry paddocks, our animals have been exposed to a variety of natural obstacles and conditions, giving them great sense of balance, confidence and muscle development.

Prospective buyers can come along and spend time viewing and assessing young horses approaching 3 years of age.Buying at Sheans avoids the difficulties of standing all day at a sale. At Sheans, the young stock can be followed over a period of months and quietly assessed with ample time to make up your own mind and take advice, before making a decision.
