Breeding Stock

Sheans Horse Farm, Armoy aims to produce top quality horses suitable for show jumping and eventing. All of the mares have been carefully chosen from reputable bloodlines. We select our mares based on their soundness and correctness. We carefully consider conformation of the body, legs, movement, style and appearance.

Young Stock

We aim to produce quality, well-handled young animals with a good temperament, to supply the growing demand for performance horses in Northern Ireland and further afield. Sheans Horse Farm originated from the decision to move from traditional cattle and sheep farming to breeding sports horses for the leisure market. By being reared extensively on a variety of terrain rather than on flat dry paddocks, our animals have been exposed to a variety of natural obstacles and conditions, giving them great sense of balance, confidence and muscle development.
