Breeding
Sheans Horse Farm aims to produce top quality horses suitable for showjumping and eventing.
All of the mares have been carefully chosen from reputable bloodlines. We select our mares based on their soundness and correctness. We carefully consider conformation of the body, legs, movement, style and appearance. Many of the brood mares are bred from old Irish and well-known showjumping bloodlines, such as: Cruising, Jack of Diamonds, Touchdown, Agherlow, Clover Hill, Candle King, Carrolls House, Laughtons Flight, Amiro, Canon and Rosire.
Care is taken in the selection of stallions to ensure the correct cross is achieved.
