Sheans Horse Farm originated from the decision to move from traditional cattle and sheep farming to breeding sports horses for the leisure market.
Our aim is to produce quality, well-handled young animals with a good temperament, to supply the growing demand for performance horses. Prospective buyers can come along and spend time viewing and assessing young horses approaching 3 years of age.
By being reared extensively on a variety of terrain rather than on flat dry paddocks, our animals have been exposed to a variety of natural obstacles and conditions, giving them great sense of balance, confidence and muscle development.
Buying at Sheans avoids the difficulties of standing all day at a sale. At Sheans, the young stock can be followed over a period of months and quietly assessed with ample time to make up your own mind and take advice, before making a decision.
